Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you have had a restful and enjoyable summer. As we prepare to welcome our students back for the new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to both new and returning families.
As we embark on a new academic year, our focus remains on providing a well-rounded education that fosters academic, social skills and builds lasting relationships. My goal is for each student to feel connected with a staff member at East Forest. We value you as our partners and know your support and involvement play a crucial role in your child’s success. We encourage you to take an active role in your child’s high school experience by participating in parent-teacher conferences, and school events, and by staying informed about academic progress and extracurricular opportunities
Starting pre-kindergarten is a big milestone, and we are excited to be part of this important stage in your child’s life. Our dedicated team is committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment where your child will feel safe and inspired to learn. High school students go through significant growth and change, and we are here to support your high school students as they navigate their academic and personal journeys. We will work to explore options for college, careers, and beyond.
We know a strong partnership between home and school is essential for your student’s success. We encourage you to be part of our East Forest family and participate in the various activities and events planned throughout the year. You are invited to our Open House on September 17, 2024, from 5:00-6:30, parent-teacher conferences in November and we will host our Thanksgiving family luncheon. In addition, many of us use The Remind App to correspond throughout the year.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact me. I am looking forward to a great 2024/25 school year!
Sincerely,
Debra Arner
East Forest Principal
