Fourth graders in Mr. Brad Roth’s science class at East Forest have been studying electrical energy through the use of electrical circuits. With the help of online simulators and hands-on components, students learned about conductors and insulators as well as the basics of series and parallel circuits. For a final project, students were able to build their own flashlights. Rylyn Parrett (left) and Avery Colvin (right) are pictured using snap circuits borrowed from the local IU to learn how to power lights, speakers, and fans.
